TOPIC:   WORSHIP: A PRESCRIPTION FOR GOD’S BLESSING
TEXT:   2 Samuel 22:47-51 (NIV)
47 "The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!
48 He is the God who avenges me, who puts the nations under me,
49 who sets me free from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me.
50 Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.
51 He gives his king great victories; he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever."
LESSON
Surely, the Lord lives, it is on this basis we celebrate Christmas. The God we celebrate at Christmas is living, good, loving and powerful
.-  Our God is so powerful He routed the hosts of hell for our sakes.
-         He is so loving He sent His only Son to die for me. He also opened His storehouse unto us.
-         He is so great that there is no one like Him from eternity to eternity. Indeed He is the only God.
-         He is so awesome that He holds the entire universe in His hands.
-          He is so close to me that He knows my name, He knows my location. Not a strand of hair will fall from my head without Him knowing it.
-         He is so big that He fills the universe, yet He lives in me…..

I join David to say “Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!” Indeed what else can I say to the Almighty “God who avenges me, who puts the nations under me, 49 who sets me free from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me.”
As I keep praising Him, “He (continues to give me) great victories; he(continues to show) unfailing kindness to (me/you) His anointed, to (my/your) descendants forever."
CONCLUSION
Join the choir to sing praises to this God and to worship the One who saved me by offering Himself in exchange for my life.
    PRAY FOR
-         A LIFE THAT IS A PRAISE TO HIM
-         A HEART TO PRAISE HIM TODAY

7.      NSBC Drama Group invites all members to her 1st Drama Night of Power tagged “God Still Speaks” – Isaiah 50:4 & 5. Date: Friday 21st of December, 2018. Time:4pm. Come and invite others.
      8.    Members who have interest in checking their blood pressure for free can do so after our        Wednesday Service.

Mission Commitment
