Thank God for our Prayer/Thanksgiving Service today, which marked the end of our 14-day fasting session. The Word was delivered to us today by the Church Pastor Rev. Kayode Oke on the Topic: …BUT FOR THE SHOWERS WE PLEAD TEXT: EZEKIEL 34: 25-31 25 "'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety. 26 I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. 27 The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the ground will yield its crops; the people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslaved them. 28 They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid. 29 I will provide for them a land renowned fo...

We continued with our 2018 prayer and fasting session with another Prayer Sunday today.  The Lord sent His Word to us today through His Servant, Our Church Pastor, Rev. Kayode Oke. The message was titled; GET BEHIND ME, SATAN Text.    MATTHEW 16:21-26 21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, b...

As we kicked off the last part of our 2018 Prayer and Fasting session today, which runs till the end of the month, God’s Word came to us through the Church Pastor, Rev. Kayode Oke, on the topic; Lord,  Why are we unable to…? TEXT:  MARK 9: 25 – 29 Mark 9:25-29 (NKJV) 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!" 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead." 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?" 29 So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." INTRODUCTION Today’s Topic is based on the question asked by the disciples from the Lord Jesus in...

God spoke to us in today’s short service, through his servant, the Church Pastor, Rev. Kayode Oke. And the topic was GOD’S MINISTRY OF SERVICE . TEXT:  MARK 10: 43 – 45 Mark 10:41-45 (NIV) 42 Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." INTRODUCTION Very few of us want to be known exclusively as a servant. We want to be known as a servant and a great preacher, a servant – leader,  or a famous missionary, or an outstanding elder, or a well-known business man.  LESSON Vs. 43. The Lord Jesus said. “Not so with you” (NIV). “But among you, it will be different”(NLT). ...
